We Promote Eco Friendly Green Painting Practices In Everything We Do!

We are proud to promote eco friendly green painting practices in everything we do at Ross Painting. With today's heightened concern over toxic chemicals and earth-friendly practices, we’re proud to report that we are doing everything recommended by our professional associations, and then some, to be the North Bay’s most "Green" painter.

We Practice "Green" Painting:

EPA Lead Certified Firm

  • We recycle thinners through a licensed, EPA-approved vendor
  • Encourage clients to use water based products in place of other bases
  • Minimize the use of paper in our office and recycle
  • Close or cover paint containers as much as possible to minimize evaporation
  • Use up, recycle, or dry out left over paints. Empty paint containers completely and dry out prior to proper disposal
  • Use HEPA vacuums for cleaning sites and attach them to sanders when possible
  • Conserve water use during preparation and tool cleanup

The Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) is helping to lead the charge to protect the earth and safeguard the environment. As a PDCA member, Ross Painting supports this effort whole-heartedly.

Neither Ross Painting nor the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America is new to what are referred to as “green painting", “eco friendly painting“ or “green ways of doing business”. Ross, as a PDCA member, has been actively involved with educating the painting and decorating contracting industry about environment friendly topics since the late 1980s.

Since “green” practices continue to evolve, everyone at Ross Painting is committed to continually updating our knowledge about what we can do to contract and paint in the most environmentally friendly ways possible. And, to further reduce our carbon footprint, we have invested in an energy efficient "Smart Car" for Dan Ross, the company President.

We Are a Lead-Safe Certified Firm
